A Western Australian man has become the first Australian to die from coronavirus since its outbreak late last year. The 78-year-old man and his wife had both been passengers on the Diamond Princess cruise ship that became stranded off the coast of Japan in February after a coronavirus outbreak.
He died in the early hours of this morning at Perth's Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital.
